The Kingfish are being caught south of Ft. Pierce. Redfish are still being caught in the Indian
River in good numbers. Both blind and sight fishing methods have been working good. Snook
are being caught in the inlets. Shoot us an email and we can help you with fly selections.
Description of the waters:
The waters around Ft. Pierce can hold world record fish and you can fish from land or water.
The Ft. Pierce Inlet is a great place for deep water fishing and the Indian River Lagoon is full
of fish. You should also try the clear, blue waters of Vero Beach and the Sebastian Inlet.
The fishing season is year-round.
Spring is the best time for fly fishing for Barracuda, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and King
This is a good time for Barracuda, and Shark.
Fall it a good time to catch Barracuda, Bonito, Cobia, Spanish and King Mackerel.
Winter is a good time for Pompano, Black Drum, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish,
Sheepshead, Snook, and Bonito

Fishing Report Archives:
12/23/19 With temps in the 60’s and 70’s, weather conditions are holding good
and fishing is recommended. Incoming cold fronts from the north mixing with
northeast winds could cause a few problems. Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and
Black Drum are moving in around Ft. Pierce Inlet and some Redfish can be
caught in the channels. There is also good beach fishing in the Vero Beach
