oth brown and rainbow trout are being caught. Smallmouth and spotted bass fishing
is good most days there is current and s
ome wind. Get ready for some good crappie
fishing that will be starting very soon.



Description of the Lake:
Boone Lake is a 4,500 acre impoundment located in north, central part of Tennessee.
It has over 160 miles of shoreline with lots of places one can fish from the bank. There
are several marinas, docks, boat launches and campground. Canoes, kayaks, bass
boats, pontoon boats and john boats are used by anglers on the lake. It has some
very good bass and striper fishing opportunities as well as several other species. The
lake is stocked with brown and rainbow trout.

he fishing season is year-round.
Spring:
Spring is the best time for crappie and bass. Late spring is a good time for bluegill and
sunfish
.
Summer:
This is a good time for bluegill and sunfish, as well as all species of bass.
Fall:
Fall it a great time for trout spotted, smallmouth and largemouth bass as well as
crappie. Other species can also be caught.
Winter:
Winter months are good for brown and rainbow trout and bass.
