Fishing Report Archives:
02/22/19 Bass fishing is fair at this time of the season. Crappie are very deep
and slow to take anything. Bass are holding in the deeper creek channels, deep
on riprap banks, and the old river ledges. Deep diving crankbaits and jigs work
with decent success.
03/22/19 We are getting some good reports on crappie. Fish the major creek
channels or drift the flats with grubs. Bass are still along creek channel dropoffs
and riprap. Use jigs with trailers and deep diving crankbaits.
04/01/19 Bass are still spawning with some just now coming off the beds and
some still spawning. Shallow swim and jeck baits are working as well as plastic
worms, lizards and crayfish. Crappie are being caught just starting to spawn in
shallow water near cover.
