05/07/19 Lake Jordan Fishing Report: All bass as post-spawn, and holding and feeding in
shallow water with heavy cover (such as brush piles, grass beds, down trees & logs). You'll
also find them in the back of the creek channels along the banks, and under boat houses.
Crappie are located where there is heavy cover and deep water (3-6feet). Also in brush piles.
Brim should be starting to spawn soon, and are typically taking popping bugs, cricket
imitaions, grasshoppers, and all worms

Description of the Lake: Lake Jordan offers fishing for Alabama spotted bass, crappie,
catfish, hybrid stripers, bluegill, and sunfish. The lake is located 25 miles north of
Montgomery, on the Coosa river. Lake Jordan offers 188 miles of shoreline, provding ample
places to throw a line. Lots of people come to fish for the well known, large, spotted bass.
There are both public and private boat ramps, and ammenties to meet your boating needs
