Description of the Lake: Mosquito Lake is a 6,500-acre reservoir located about a
ten-minute drive from Warren, Ohio. Mosquito Lake offers great fishing opportunities,
both via boat and from the bank. With over 30 miles of shoreline, there is plenty of
space to explore and wet a line. Some of the shoreline areas also proivde access for
putting in smaller watercraft, such as canoes and kayaks. Bass, catfish, crappie,
bluegill, white bass, perch, and northern pike all inhabit these waters in healthy
populations. There is no horsepower regulation on Mosquito Lake

Spring:

can also be caught.
Winter:
Winter months are the best times for walleye, and a good time for largemouth, and
spotted bass.

03/10/19 The most pursued species during this time of the year are bass -
largemouth and spotted bass. They can be caught during the cold winter
months. They are generally found in the deeper water of creeks channels, as
well as both submerged and above water river ledges. We recommend using
deep diving crankbaits and jigs with trailers at this time of the year. .
