Fishing Report Archives:
01/21/19 Bass fishing is fair at this time of the year. Crappie are deep and slow
to take anything. Bass are holding in the deeper creek channels and the old
river ledges. Deep diving crankbaits and jigs work with decent success.
02/23/19 The bass are moving into their pre-span areas in water 3 to 6 foot
deep off the spawning areas. They will hold on whatever cover is available. Fish
stump rows and similar cover with diving crankbaits and jigs with trailers..
02/23/19 Bass fishing has slowed down some. The are shallow and around and
under heavy cover like the lilly pads and grass beds. We are starting to see
bream and shellcrackers in shallow water and expect them to be on the bed
soon. Hybrid Striped bass are being caught.
