02/24/19 Fishing Report: (See Fishing Report Archive at bottom of page)
The super cold fronts have slowed the action down for the past three weeks of February.
Last week it changed and the weather has been nice and warm. Trout and redfish are being
caught on good weather days on the inshore rocky points. They will be moving back out to
deeper water soon.

Description of the Inshore waters:
The water consist of rivers, inlets, bays and sounds of the area often called the Big Bend of
Florida. The waters in this area can be diverse as there are shallow grass flats along the
shoreline where waters can be fairly clear. Then you can get around the islands where the
water can be murky and even over the oyster bars in the area you can get clear water.
