The Great Olive-winged Drake is sometimes called the "Michigan Caddis". It is a huge mayfly that is found in the East, Mid-west and some Western trout streams. It prefers slower moving and still water. Both the duns hatch and the spinners fall in the evenings. This is a very popular mayfly in some trout streams.
