Fly Fishing Report – Naples to the Everglades

10/30/25 Fly Fishing Report: We are still getting good catch reports from customers fishing near the large schools of baitfish along the coast. Several different species of fish are found feeding on the baitfish.

Tip: The redfish that are feeding on the baitfish schools along the coast are plentiful and many of them large ones. Make sure you are rigged right to catch the larger ones as well as the average size ones.

Tide: Naples

Weather: By Accuweather

Tips and Techniques: Redfish: You can sight cast in shallow, lightly stained water for redfish. You can find them in shallow bays and points. Sight casting in shallow off color water is the best for reds and working points and shallow bays work best for them. Snook and Tarpon: You will find them in moving water and up large and small inlets and rivers. You should be able to find some large snook. Move slowly and be quiet. Make sure you cast ahead of the boat, or otherwise, you may spook them.
