Insects are a major part of the diet of many warmwater species of fish as well as cold water species. There’s both the aquatic variety and the terrestrial variety of insects that fish feed on. Largemouth bass, spotted bass, redeye bass and smallmouth bass eat them. Use them in all types of water from ponds, lakes, reservoirs, creeks and rivers. This page includes both surface flies and nymphs. We have imitations of grasshoppers, damselfly nymphs, moth larvae (hellgrammites) and cicadas.
