The Journeyman 4 piece, 9 foot, 5 weight, fly rod is a medium fast action rod that cast a variety of flies ranging from small dry flies to larger size streamer and nymphs. It rivals fly rods costing three or more times it’s price. We are able to do that because it comes directly from us, the OEM manufacturer, to you, the angler with no middle men. The fly line and backing comes already installed on the reel, ready to take fishing.
The Journeyman Fly Reel is a 5/6 weight, aluminum wide arbor, with left-right, interchangeable handle. It operates very smoothly.
The Perfect Fly fly line is a weight-forward, floating, 5 weight fly line.
The Perfect Fly 25# test fly line backing is High-Tec and ultra slim.
